The Social Media Fitness Workout

There are two things that I love: Social Media and Fitness. Therefore I thought it would be perfectly plausible to put the two together and come up with the Social Media Workout plan. Of course, I don’t mean Social Media for Fitness – I mean FITNESS for Social Media.

This week, I’m exploring the same dilemma from a digital marketing perspective. Many of us ‘do’ Social Media like we ‘go’ to the gym, but are we being as effective with it as we could be? When we look in the mirror, we immediately see if we’re in shape or not.

Unfortunately with the fitness of our Social Media it’s not as straight-forward as that. There are no magic mirrors. There are however, lots of gizmos and analytic tools that can can bring you all the insights and date you’ve ever wanted. So how can we stay in check with the health of our Digital Media?

Taking my fitness background as inspiration, I wanted to explore the same angle of training methods and achieving results using a similar scheme that will:

  • Reduce procrastination

  • Increase productivity

  • Give structure and method to the madness

So if anyone’s with me and wants a a fresh approach at looking at their Social Media, here we go: get ready to put on some Digital Muscle!
