Biography

Born to a French mother and Italian father as Jessica Rossi (not much to do with a Zoo), I lived in Milan until the age of 14 when I left for Switzerland to attend an international boarding school. Here I discovered my passion for organizing  and bringing projects to life. I then graduated with a degree in Media Arts at Royal Holloway University of London in 2006, and fell in love with Cheerleading and Media Production.

Before setting up Zoo Fever Cheerleaders in 2007 (earning myself the nickname that stuck: Jessica Zoo) and Dance Party Central, I worked as an Account Manager & Business Development Executive for web design agency, Red Snapper Ltd. This gave me invaluable preparation to tackle the world of online marketing and an understanding of digital communications.

I was able to continue my flourishing digital marketing career as a freelancer, culminating in the launch of Social Media Mentors in collaboration with Lars Christensen in 2013. The company grew very rapidly, securing Social Media consultancy and training services for a number of blue-chip companies, alongside web development for small businesses.

In 2010 I launched Cheerobics® which included developing a full fitness programme, DVD production, teachin courses, video tutorials and allowed me to be featured in a number of TV shows including the Dr. Oz show in the USA. The company developed in 2013 with the introduction of the CHEER PRO™ (professional cheerleading) brand and INTENSITY™ fitness in 2014.

My background is one of a Multilinguist Cheerleader with a Renaissance Soul. I grew up surrounded by languages and have always been stimulated by the world around me. I am fluent in Italian, French and English, and studied Spanish and German. Aside from dance, fitness, production and marketing, my interests include cooking, travelling, history, psychology and cinematography.
